"PHP security under scrutiny " is an article from Security Focus which discussed about PHP security issues. In this news, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), found that Web applications written in PHP likely account for 43 percent of the security issues found so far in 2006, up from 29 percent in 2005. A search of the National Vulnerability Database revealed that, as of December 15, out of the 6,198 vulnerabilities recorded in 2006, as many as 2,690--or 43 percent--had the word "PHP" in the description.
